Coley Florance Joins Spectrum Equity as Head of Talent
Spectrum Equity, a leading growth equity firm, announces that Coley Florance has joined as the firm’s first Head of Talent.
“We are delighted to have Coley join Spectrum Equity. Coley’s experience will accelerate and improve our approach to human capital development across our portfolio,” said Vic Parker, Managing Director of Spectrum Equity. “Given Spectrum’s specialization by business model, deep domain expertise and commitment to company building, Coley’s role will be especially impactful.”
Coley’s responsibilities will include overseeing the firm’s talent initiatives, building upon Spectrum’s executive network and partnering with portfolio company leaders on recruitment, assessment, on-boarding, retention, team development and compensation strategies. Coley’s work will enable the identification of best in class executives and support Spectrum’s portfolio companies as they scale.

Coley brings over twenty years of talent management-related experience to the firm. Most recently, she served as an Operating Director, Human Capital at TPG Capital. Prior to joining TPG in 2005, Coley worked for executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. She earned a BA from Harvard College.
