Spectrum Equity’s Ben Spero Named a GrowthCap Top 25 Software Investor of 2022

Spectrum Equity is delighted to announce that Ben Spero has been selected as a GrowthCap Top 25 Software Investor of 2022.

GrowthCap selected nominees based on the quality of the feedback they received from firm colleagues, portfolio company CEOs, and/or peers in the industry. The most highly endorsed were then selected for final rounds where they were further evaluated based on breadth of deal experience, recent investments and exits, demonstrated leadership, and uniqueness of capabilities, among other attributes.

Although several hundred firms were originally considered at the start of this awards process, only 65 remained in the final rounds.

The publication stated, “This is our fourth year running these awards and what has become apparent over time is that while there are thousands of investors in the software space, the ability to produce solid consistent performance seems to be concentrated among a select group of firms.”
