Jacob is a Vice President at Spectrum, focused on growth-stage technology companies.

Jacob joined Spectrum in 2023. Over the course of his career, Jacob has partnered with companies across a wide array of business and consumer technology categories. His passion for investing stems from a deep curiosity about technology and a dedication to helping founders and management teams successfully scale.

Jacob began his career in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets before transitioning into growth investing, joining Sorenson Capital. At Sorenson, Jacob focused on investing in growth-stage B2B software businesses. He graduated with honors from the University of Utah, where he studied finance.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Jacob spends his days training for his next triathlon, playing tennis, or mountaineering with his wife and dog. Jacob also sits on the University of Utah Eccles School of Business Alumni Board.
